Will a redesign hurt my current Google rankings?
Not if it’s done correctly. A redesign that ignores SEO migration — changing URLs without redirects, removing content, restructuring pages carelessly — can significantly damage your rankings. Our process includes a full SEO audit before we rebuild, proper 301 redirects for all changed URLs, and preservation of your existing ranking signals throughout the migration. Done right, a redesign should improve your rankings, not hurt them.
How is a redesign different from starting fresh?
A redesign starts with what you already have — your domain, any existing rankings, your brand, and whatever’s working on your current site — and rebuilds around that foundation. Starting fresh means a brand new domain with zero history. In most cases, a redesign is the better path because it preserves the domain authority, link equity, and ranking history you’ve already built, while fixing everything that’s currently underperforming.
How long does a redesign take?
Most redesigns are completed within 3–5 weeks from the start of the project, depending on scope and how quickly we receive your input and approvals. A larger site with many service pages or a complex migration may take slightly longer. We provide a clear timeline at the start of every project and keep you updated throughout so you always know where things stand.
Can you keep my existing domain and content?
Yes — your domain stays the same, and we evaluate your existing content before the rebuild. Content that’s performing well for SEO is preserved or improved. Content that’s thin, outdated, or not serving your rankings is rewritten or replaced. The goal is to come out of the redesign with a stronger content foundation, not a clean slate that leaves you starting over from zero.
Do I lose my SEO if I switch platforms?
